A traditional Swedish hand-carved wooden grain scoop dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.
Carved from a single piece of wood, the scoop has a deep, narrow bowl and a long curved handle with a hooked end. The interior is decorated with hand-painted pink flowers and green foliage, with yellow painted detailing around the edges.
The rich brown surface shows wear and marks from age and use. A lovely example of traditional Scandinavian folk art.
