A beautifully preserved male pheasant dating to the late 19th century, mounted in a naturalistic pose. Its iridescent feathers, bold colouring and distinctive face detail make it a real showstopper. This piece is full of character, ideal for adding a touch of eccentricity to a shelf, cabinet or mantel. A handwritten note to the underside gives a glimpse into its past – a small but intriguing trace of its journey.
