Crafted in solid oak, these chairs reflect the late Victorian and Edwardian fascination with England’s earlier furniture traditions. The boldly carved backs, turned spindles and shaped arms draw clear inspiration from 17th-century Jacobean forms, reinterpreted through the Arts & Crafts movement’s emphasis on honest materials and visible craftsmanship.

Richly patinated oak frames are paired with upholstered drop-in seats, adding both comfort and warmth while allowing the sculptural quality of the carving to take centre stage. Substantial and well-proportioned, these chairs sit confidently in both traditional interiors and more eclectic, layered spaces.

A characterful and versatile pair, ideal as occasional chairs, hallway statement pieces or as part of a considered Arts & Crafts interior scheme.
