A pair of 19th Century carved bamboo brush pots, each deeply worked with traditional landscape and figural scenes.
One example depicts scholars within a bamboo grove, the other a mountainous riverside scene with trees and pavilions. Both retain strong colour and crisp carving, with natural patination throughout. Substantial, decorative pieces that sit well on a desk, shelf or cabinet.
