It includes engraved strip maps, county information, distances, routes and topographical detail that illustrate how travellers navigated England and Wales during the early eighteenth century.
This example is one of just 300 specially bound quarter-leather copies, numbered 44, produced by Britannia Publications in 1979. Bound in quarter tan leather with raised bands, burgundy cloth-covered boards and a leather title label, it is a particularly attractive collector's edition.
