Large circular Moroccan brass tray with hand-engraved geometric and foliate decoration, set on a folding hardwood base. The shaped, raised rim and detailed chasing are typical of mid-20th-century North African production for both domestic use and the export market.

The base dismantles easily, making it practical as well as decorative.
